Effective Date: May 11, 2026
Thank you for learning with Fascia-Informed Continuing Education. We are a small business, and live classes, webinars, and online courses all require preparation, platform costs, limited enrollment, and time set aside for teaching and student support.
This policy explains how cancellations, transfers, credits, substitutions, refunds, and certificates are handled for Fascia-Informed Continuing Education courses, workshops, webinars, and self-paced online courses. Event-specific terms posted on a course, workshop, webinar, or registration page may add to or modify this policy.
To request a cancellation, transfer, course credit, substitution, or refund, email AmyMayer@FasciaInformed.com.
Your request should include:
Your name
The course, webinar, or workshop title
The date of the live class, if applicable
The email address used to register
A brief description of what you are requesting
Requests are reviewed based on the date the written request is received.
Unless a specific event page states otherwise, the following policy applies to live in-person workshops and live webinar classes sold directly by Fascia-Informed Continuing Education.
If you cancel more than 14 days before the live class, you may receive a refund minus a $30 administrative fee.
If you cancel 14 days or fewer before the live class, refunds are not available. You may request a transfer to a future Fascia-Informed Continuing Education event or a course credit valid for 12 months, at the discretion of Fascia-Informed Continuing Education.
The $30 administrative fee is intended to cover processing and administrative costs. Separate payment processing fees are not deducted from eligible live-event refunds unless a specific event page states otherwise.
Some live in-person workshops or live webinar classes may include required pre-course online learning.
If required pre-course online learning is included and you access that online course or online content, the online portion is non-refundable. If you are otherwise eligible for a refund, the stated value of the required online portion will be deducted from the refund.
The value of any required pre-course online learning will be listed on the specific event page when applicable.
If you are unable to attend a live in-person workshop or live webinar, you may request a transfer to a future Fascia-Informed Continuing Education event or a course credit valid for 12 months. Transfers and credits are discretionary and depend on factors such as timing, space availability, course type, event costs, and whether required online content has already been accessed.
You may also request to transfer your seat to another qualified participant. Substitutions must be requested before the event and approved by Fascia-Informed Continuing Education. Substitutions may not be available if a course has prerequisites, limited enrollment, certificate requirements, or other eligibility considerations.
Transfers, credits, and substitutions are not guaranteed.
No refunds are provided for no-shows or partial attendance.
If you miss a live class, arrive late, leave early, or attend only part of a live class, a transfer or course credit may be considered at the discretion of Fascia-Informed Continuing Education, but is not guaranteed.
Certificates for live classes require full attendance and participation. A grace period of up to 10 minutes may be allowed. Missing more than 10 minutes may make you ineligible for a certificate, including when attendance requirements are connected to continuing education standards or approved-provider requirements.
If a live class is held as scheduled, the standard cancellation policy applies.
Weather, travel disruptions, illness concerns, family emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or other personal circumstances do not automatically qualify for a refund. You are welcome to contact us before the class, and we may consider a transfer or course credit at our discretion when possible.
We do not require participants to submit personal documentation to prove the reason for a cancellation request.
Fascia-Informed Continuing Education may cancel or reschedule a live class because of severe weather, illness, low enrollment, venue issues, technology issues, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If we cancel or materially reschedule a live class, participants will be offered a choice of a full refund or a transfer/course credit, unless the specific event page states otherwise.
Fascia-Informed Continuing Education is not responsible for travel costs, lodging, lost wages, childcare, or other expenses incurred in connection with attending or planning to attend a live class.
Because online self-paced courses provide access to digital content, downloadable materials, and certificates, refunds are handled differently from live classes.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if:
The course has not been substantially accessed
Downloadable materials have not been downloaded
The course has not been completed
No certificate has been issued
If these conditions are met, Fascia-Informed Continuing Education may approve a refund and remove course access.
If you have completed at least 80% of a self-paced online course and believe the course did not meet its description or learning expectations, you may request a good-faith review within 30 days of purchase.
Refunds under this review are not automatic. To request a good-faith review, you may be asked to explain what did not meet your expectations and how you engaged with the course. Fascia-Informed Continuing Education may approve or deny the request at its discretion.
If a refund is granted after a good-faith review, course access may be removed and any certificate may be voided.
Refunds are generally not available for self-paced online courses if:
More than 14 days have passed and the request does not qualify for a 30-day good-faith review
Downloadable materials have been downloaded
The course has been completed
A certificate has been issued, unless the certificate is voided as part of an approved good-faith review
The request is based only on changing your mind, not having time, or not using the course
The request appears inconsistent with the purpose of the refund policy
Fascia-Informed Continuing Education is sometimes contracted to teach workshops, webinars, or classes for other organizations.
If Fascia-Informed Continuing Education handles registration and payment directly, this policy applies unless the event page or contract states otherwise.
If another organization handles registration, payment, cancellations, refunds, transfers, or certificates, that organization’s policies may apply instead. Please contact the host organization for questions about registration or refund terms for those events.
Course credits, when approved, are valid for 12 months from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and may be limited to eligible Fascia-Informed Continuing Education courses, workshops, webinars, or events.
Fascia-Informed Continuing Education may update this policy from time to time. The policy in effect at the time of purchase or registration generally applies, unless a later policy or event-specific term is more favorable or otherwise required by law.
