Fascia-Informed Continuing Education (“Fascia-Informed Continuing Education,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. We are a small continuing education business, and we want you to feel clear and comfortable about how your information is handled.

This Privacy Policy is intended to describe our privacy practices as a small continuing education business. It does not replace the separate privacy policies of Podia, Stripe, or other third-party services that may process information in connection with our storefront, course platform, or payments.
We collect information that you provide directly to us, information collected through our Podia storefront and course platform, and information processed by service providers that help us operate our business.

If you purchase or enroll in a course or register for an in-person workshop through Podia, we may collect or receive access to:

Transaction details, such as purchase amount, purchase date, and course, workshop, or event purchased
Payment information is processed through our payment processor, currently Stripe. We do not intentionally store full payment card details ourselves.
Some courses may include comments, discussion areas, private messages, or similar student interaction features. If you submit content in a course discussion area, that content may be visible to us and to other enrolled students in the applicable course or course area. If you message us privately through Podia or another available course feature, we may collect and respond to the information you choose to include in that message.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, health information, medical information, treatment information, disability information, or other confidential information through course comments, discussions, messages, assignments, or forms. We do not intentionally request or collect health or medical information through our Podia courses.
From time to time, we may ask students for testimonials or feedback. If you choose to provide a testimonial, we will use it only with your permission and in the way you approve.
When you visit or use our Podia storefront, Podia and related service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:

Our Podia storefront may use cookies and similar technologies to make the site function, support login and checkout, remember preferences, understand usage, maintain security, and provide the course experience.
We do not currently add our own paid advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools to our Podia storefront. If we begin using additional advertising, analytics, or retargeting tools in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy to describe those practices.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. If you block or delete cookies, some storefront, checkout, login, or course features may not work properly.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with unrelated companies for their own marketing purposes.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor supported by Podia. Payment processors may collect payment card information, billing details, transaction information, fraud-prevention information, and other information needed to complete your purchase.
We may receive transaction-related information, such as your name, email address, billing details, purchase amount, purchase date, and course, workshop, or event purchased, but we do not intentionally store complete payment card numbers ourselves.
If you sign up for our emails or purchase a course, we may send you:

Purchase, payment, enrollment, or access information
Workshop or event registration information
Certificate or completion information
Customer support responses
Newsletters, educational updates, promotions, or course announcements
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at AmyMayer@FasciaInformed.com. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send transactional or administrative messages, such as purchase confirmations, workshop registration details, course access information, certificate information, policy updates, or responses to your requests.
If you post comments, discussion responses, or other content within a course area, that content may be visible to us and to other enrolled students who have access to that area. Please use care when deciding what to share. Do not post sensitive personal information, confidential information, medical or health information, or information about other people without permission.
Some courses or workshops may include downloadable materials. These materials may include copyright notices or use restrictions. Downloading course materials does not require you to provide additional personal information beyond the information needed to access the course, workshop, or materials.
We generally retain student, customer, purchase, enrollment, workshop registration, billing, tax, business, course completion, certificate, message, and testimonial-related records for up to 7 years when needed for course access, workshop administration, legal or tax obligations, accounting records, refunds, disputes, business records, or legitimate business purposes.
We may retain information for a shorter or longer period if required or permitted by law, needed to resolve a dispute, necessary to enforce agreements, or maintained in a de-identified or aggregated form that does not reasonably identify you.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate for a small business to help protect personal information. We also rely on Podia, Stripe, and other service providers to maintain security measures for the systems they operate.
No website, platform, payment system, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account login information and using care when accessing your account or course materials.
Our courses, storefront, and email list are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors under 18.
